BCom’s Engineering team drives technicalexcellence through advanced design, integration, and rigorous testing.

Subject Matter Expert (SME) Team: Driving Technical Excellence

At the core of BCom’s technical leadership is our Subject Matter Expert (SME) team, a centralized collection of elite engineers responsible for architecting our most advanced solutions and resolving our most demanding technical challenges.

This team serves as the primary technical interface for high-level projects while providing critical support across all BCom’s technical departments.

Key responsibilitiesof the SME team

End-to-EndSolution Design

From High-Level Design (HLD) that defines the overall system architecture to Low-Level Design (LLD) that specifies every technical detail, our SMEs ensure every solution is robust, scalable, and perfectly aligned with client objectives.

Advanced TechnicalSupport (Tier 4)

Serving as the ultimate escalation point, the SME team provides expert analysis and resolution for the most intricate issues encountered by our field implementation and NOC teams, ensuring rapid problem-solving and service continuity.

Deep Radio Frequency (RF)and Satellite Expertise

With profound knowledge of RF engineering and satellite communications, the SME team optimizes network performance, designs complex RF chains, and ensures signal integrity across all multi-orbit and terrestrial deployments.

ComprehensiveTeleport Audits

Our SMEs conduct in-depth audits of teleport infrastructure to evaluate equipment, architecture, and software configurations. Detailed reports provide actionable recommendations for enhancing performance, mitigating risks, and maximizing operational efficiency.

Advancing Integration
and Innovation

Geneva LAB is central to BCom’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge,reliable satellite communication solutions. It serves several critical roles insupporting seamless deployment and ongoing service excellence:

Complex
Integration Testing

We use the LAB to rigorously validate intricate scenarios before field deployment, including the integration of LEO satellite services with cellular networks. We test multi orbit (LEO/GEO) cellular backhaul SDWAN handovers to ensure flawless operation across multi-orbit configurations. Additionally, we integrate private 5G networks and IoT solutions with satellite constellations (LEO/MEO/GEO) tailored for specialized enterprise verticals.

Tailored Solution
Development

To ensure that satellite systems can withstand extreme environmental conditions, we develop off-the-shelf 1.2m antennas within the LAB designed to sustain winds up to 200 km/h and endure other impacting weather conditions, like snow accumulation and heat.

For specific satcom
systems or deployments

We produce comprehensive manuals, videos, and integration materials to facilitate rapid and easy installation in challenging scenarios, even by inexperienced or non-technical personnel.

Equipment Testing &
RMA Management

Prior to shipping, we test all equipment in the LAB to prevent “dead on arrival” incidents and issue detailed reports with relevant KPIs, providing key reference data for field installation.

We also thoroughly inspect and retest any equipment that has been reported to be faulty during field operations, at which point we quickly initiate a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA), ensuring reliability and minimizing downtime.
